Taken Events is a company ran by Tyler Scott who was known as one of the best mobile Deejays in San Francisco Bay Area. After Tyler had moved to Texas to create a better family life for his new little family he decided how much he missed the industry and thats when Dj By the Bay helped Tyler create Taken events in the state of Texas. Taken Events might be a new company in Texas but we bring the current trends, brand new top of the line equipment, and a head dj of over 9 years of experience.
We work closely with you to orchestrate the music and lighting to best match your event, personality, and venue. We believe in doing things right the first time. Our experienced Deejays will present the best recommendations; play exactly what you want, and never what you don’t. We spend the time to get to know you because your event is just as special to us as it is to you.

All of our disk jockeys are also lighting specialists. With our famous up lighting we can turn any room into a colored wonderland. All of our lighting effects are controlled and programmed using computer based DMX. Other lighting effects include skirted up trussing, moving heads, table/cake spotting, monograms, and much more.
